Travelling to and from Penarth

We have designated airport transfer days as outlined in our Term Dates. New students should arrive on these days. For students starting with us mid-year, we will liaise with you directly on transport options.

Approximate distance to airports:

	Cardiff – 25 minutes
	Bristol – 75 minutes
	Heathrow – 135 minutes
	Gatwick – 180 minutes

How do I arrange my airport transfer?

Please email your full flight details, including arrival date, time, airport and terminal, and flight number to transfers@westbourneschool.com

Please also include your phone number, ensuring that it will work in the UK, in case we need to contact you on arrival.

We will need to receive email consent from your parents should you be flying alone.

What day should I arrive at school?

Designated airport transfer days are included in our term dates.

What if I arrive on a different day?

Requests for arrival or departures on days outside the published school term dates must be sent to our school Principal for review. We urge all students and parents to adhere to the term dates to promote effective learning and consistency.

What happens if I don’t get my visa in time?

Don’t panic. Please keep us updated as to any delays and let us know as soon as you have received your visa.

When will I know my driver’s details?

Drivers’ details are available the day before travel and will be sent to you prior to departure.

How will I find my driver at the airport?

Your driver will be waiting for you in Arrivals, holding a sign with the Westbourne School logo. We will be keeping an eye on the flight data, so your driver will be aware if your plane is delayed.
