Year 5 at Westbourne Prep is an exciting and pivotal year where students begin their journey from independent primary school towards secondary school life. Taking on leadership roles as Head Boy, Head Girl, and House Captains, they build confidence and independence, preparing for what’s next. Regular interactions with specialist teachers from both Prep and Senior schools, along with access to science labs, additional sports facilities, and more, help lay a solid foundation for Year 6 and beyond.
Our Middle Years curriculum in Year 6 acts as the bridge, connecting Prep and Senior School. It emphasizes STEM skills and real-world learning, equipping students to excel in GCSEs, Sixth Form, and future challenges, nurturing both academic success and personal growth.
