Students celebrate IB Results Day 2026

Posted: 6th July 2026

We are delighted to announce another year of outstanding International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma results, with one in three Westbourne Sixth Form students achieving 40 points or more – A*A*A*A* at A Level – placing them in the top 2% of IB students worldwide.

Westbourne School students have once again maintained a league table topping performance and will now progress to highly competitive degree programmes at world-leading universities, including Imperial College London, University College London, the London School of Economics and King’s College London.

Degree subjects include Medical Biosciences, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Economics, Aeronautics, Geosciences and MORSE (Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics) – one of the UK’s most rigorous and quantitative undergraduate degrees, combining advanced mathematics with applications in business, finance and management – alongside Law, Politics, International Relations and Global Sustainable Development.

The IB Diploma Programme is widely recognised as the global benchmark for pre-university education, valued by leading universities for its academic rigour, breadth of study and emphasis on critical thinking, independent research and global perspectives. Westbourne offers both the IB Diploma alongside A Levels, enabling students to pursue the pathway best aligned with their academic ambitions.
