Little Westbourne Pre-School is designed as the first stage of a Westbourne education rather than a stand-alone early years setting. Alongside play, creativity and exploration, there is a critical focus on early academic development. Every activity is carefully planned to develop the confidence, curiosity and core skills children need before starting school.

A defining feature of Little Westbourne is its close integration with Westbourne Prep School. Children are taught by teachers who also work within the Prep School and regularly spend time with the Reception class, becoming familiar with the environment, routines and expectations of school life well before they officially start.

This unique continuity helps children build confidence, friendships and a genuine sense of belonging, creating a seamless transition into Reception that few stand-alone nurseries can offer.

Based on the Westbourne Prep School campus in Penarth, Little Westbourne offers full-day provision during term time from 7.30am to 6.00pm.
